All Australian families must gain permission to host an exchange student from their school before applying for a reciprocal exchange.
What is the general procedure?
If you are interested in doing an exchange to France, please complete this application form.
Following receipt of this form, AFX will contact you to arrange an informal interview with at least one parent in the family home. AFX will email you the AFX Application Package which must be filled out and returned to AFX.
Important information for parents
As a general rule, requesting an exchange is initiated by the candidate himself/herself but parental input is necessary at many different stages of the exchange, including application and hosting.

Au Pair Program
Step 1 : Print and fill out an application form which includes :
1. Au Pair Placement Agreement
2. Letter to the host family
3. Two letters of recommendation
4. A character reference
5. A medical certificate
Step 2 : Your complete application must be send to AFX 9/25 Pine Avenue 3184 Elwood Victoria.
Step 3 : Processing your application file ; we contact you.
